Luisa is a devoted litigation attorney who offers her passion and diverse experience to fight for her clients.
Luisa F. Calderon obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Loyola University, New Orleans College of Law and was licensed to practice law in Texas in 2010. While in law school, Luisa was a member and coach of the Trial Advocacy program. During her last year of law school, Luisa worked at the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s office as a student attorney, where she successfully tried several cases to verdict. Prior to attending law school, Luisa completed her studies in Political Science at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Before attending law school, Luisa was an account manager focusing on Spanish-language radio in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex.
Luisa began her practice helping people with all types of problems. Her first position out of law school was working with Lone Star Legal Aid in Houston. Her career there took her to the courtroom on a consistent basis. Those early years set her path as a trial litigator. Over the course of her legal career, Luisa’s focus has ranged from personal injury cases, employment issues, and commercial litigation. Currently, her areas of concentration include personal injury, commercial litigation, and employment litigation. Luisa has obtained favorable jury and bench trial verdicts.
Born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, Luisa is fluent in Spanish, which serves as a great tool for Texas’ ever-changing cultural make-up.
Luisa is a member of the Houston Bar Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and Houston Trial Lawyer Association.
